Therapeutic Health Services and Russian Counseling Services are pleased to announce a project that will provide the Russian and Ukrainian-speaking community with confidential chemical dependency services in their own language.
Therapeutic Health Services, with its solid foundation and more than 35 years of experience, and Russian Counseling Services, with the knowledge of cultural differences, have formed a collaborative partnership to provide rehabilitation services to the Russian-speaking community and help heal individuals and families affected by alcohol and chemical dependency. Our service is aimed at helping people with limited knowledge of the English language to overcome language and cultural barriers that prevent them from accessing treatment programs provided by traditional and widely available English-speaking counselors.
Our counselors have explicit knowledge of cultural values, norms and special customs of the Russian-speaking population, while successfully applying this knowledge and skills to solve any clients' alcohol/drug dependency problems, thus canceling the fear factor and uncertainty which is commonly part of the immigrant and refugee migration experience.
Russian Counseling Services provides comprehensive, high quality health services, consisting of cultural integration and rehabilitation, trauma and emotional stress analysis and support, prevention and treatment of substance abuse/dependence to the highest quality requirements of nationally accredited organizations.
Our counselors provide personalized, individual treatment, as well as group therapy and meet all the professional standards according to the ASAM Patient Placement Criteria.
